The Philippine Marine Corps warmly welcomed its newly installed Command Chaplain in a Change of Chief of Office Ceremony today, held at the Conference Room, Philippine Marine Corps Headquarters.
LTCOL ELMER E BASAS CHS, the outgoing PMC Chaplain, relegated his duties and responsibilities to LTCOL GENNIS D BERNAL CHS.
The ceremony was presided by the Chief of Marine Staff, COL BAYANI V CURAMING PN(M)(MNSA) who personally expressed his appreciation to the two gentleman for taking the lead in uplifting the spiritual aspects of the troops. COL CURAMING also emphasized their important role, not just as spiritual guide to the Philippine Marine Corps, but being the source of inspiration, strength, and compassion to every individual marines.
